The product
- What is Traderwise?
- An AI-powered trading education platform. You get high-conviction CFD signals, realistic paper trading, eight-gate edge validation, and an AI that reviews every trade you close. Traderwise does not place real trades or hold funds.
- Who is Traderwise for?
- Retail traders who want to prove a genuine edge on paper before risking real money, and experienced traders who want an honest AI that tells them when to sit out. Not suitable for high-frequency or algorithmic traders.
- Which instruments are covered?
- 19 instruments at launch: Gold, Silver, Copper, WTI Oil, Brent Oil, Natural Gas; S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, Dow Jones, Russell 2000, VIX; EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, AUD/USD, DXY, US 10Y; Bitcoin, Ethereum.
- Does it work on mobile?
- Yes. The chart and signal views are responsive. Paper trading and journal entries work on mobile. We recommend desktop for deeper analysis sessions.
Signals & edge
- How often do signals fire?
- Two to four high-conviction signals a week across 19 instruments is typical. You can see borderline setups in the backtest log, but only signals that clear the confluence threshold are surfaced as trade candidates.
- What is confluence scoring?
- A single indicator is a coin-flip. We score every setup across RSI, ADX, MACD, Bollinger Bands, EMA alignment, and volume. Only setups where the majority agree reach you.
- What is regime gating?
- Each strategy has the regime it respects. A trend-following signal in a ranging market is not a weak signal — it is the wrong signal. Regime gating blocks setups that market conditions will not support.
- What are the eight edge gates?
- Win rate, expectancy, R:R quality, sample size, regime fit, consistency, discipline score, and drawdown. When all eight clear on your paper trades for a given setup, the AI flags you as ready to take it live.
Paper trading
- Does Traderwise place real trades?
- No. Every trade is simulated in a paper account. When you are ready to go live, open the same trade manually at your broker (IG, CMC, Pepperstone, etc.).
- How realistic is the paper trading?
- Spread, commission, overnight swap, position sizing in contracts — all modelled per broker. The mechanics are identical to IG and CMC so that going live requires no conceptual adjustment.
- Can I connect my broker?
- Not yet. Direct broker integration (OAuth with IG Markets) is on the roadmap post-fundraise. For now, you place real orders manually at your broker after proving the edge on paper.
Pricing
- Is there a free tier?
- Yes. Free gives you 10 signal requests a day, full paper trading, and full edge analytics. No credit card required.
- How much is Pro?
- £10/month, with a 14-day free trial. Pro adds unlimited signals, the AI trade journal, daily morning briefing, alerts, and CSV export.
- Can I cancel any time?
- Yes. No lock-in, no penalty. We also do not auto-extend your trial without an explicit prompt.
Data & regulation
- Where does the market data come from?
- Yahoo Finance during the MVP phase. Twelve Data and Polygon.io are on the roadmap as data quality and instrument coverage demands grow.
- Is Traderwise FCA-authorised?
- Traderwise is an educational platform with simulated paper trading. It does not hold client funds, execute trades, or provide personalised investment advice — so FCA authorisation is not required for this scope. See our risk disclosure for full detail.
- Is anything I do on Traderwise investment advice?
- No. All signals and analysis are educational. You alone are responsible for what you do with them at your broker.
